Put some colour behind this ink drawing I did a while back.

Market Moolah

I can finally share my design for the Auckland Fair's market money which I did way back in September. This year they have $10 notes as well as the usual $5. There's such an abundance of cool stuff at the fairs, I wanted to convey that hence the dense jungle.
I'll put up more images of it once the fair has passed (to thwart any potential forgers out there), it's on the 7th of Dec from 11am to 3pm at Shed 10 in the Viaduct, come on down!

ZINE-ZINE-ZINE

I've made an instructional zine zine for the Auckland Storylines, where I'll be on Sunday, teaching the kids how to zine, more info on that here. I'll also put the pages up here if anyone wants to print em out and make them yourself, just at a time that I'm not running out the door!

Inklings

I've been really enjoying working with indian ink recently. These two sketches are on this fairly cheap and nasty card card which I got a bulk deal of. Turns out its actually quite nice stuff for doing ink drawings on, so long as you don't use too much water on it.

I spy something beginning with p

A simple little repeating pattern I made based on some sketchbook doodles. Potted plants, pineapples, pears and a couple of stray leaves. I like the combination of smooth and spiky shapes.

Poster for a gig.

I did this a couple of weeks ago for Nigel. Hurray for masking fluid! The water bothers me a bit, could of done it better but i'm quite fond of the image, might do some more similar in the future.
P.S. Come to the gig if you be in Ak.
